In 2017 we visited many places in Europe. Here are a few photos of our favorite.
Kraków Poland
The best way to take a city tour is on a segway.
Part of the original wall that surrounded the city of Krakow.
This is a monument to Jan Matejico. He was one of Polands most famous painters. He was known for very large works and legend says he often worked his own likeness in the paintings.

Wawel Castle
The legend of the Wawle dragon says the dragon took up resident at the bottom of Wawel hill and terrorized the townspeople. He ate livestock for dinner and young girls for dessert. King Krakus offerd the hand of his daughter to anyone that could kill the beast. Many tried but no one was successful. All the knight that tried were killed. One day a shoemaker, Dratewka, asked the king if he could try to kill the dragon. The king allows this and Dratweka killed a sheep and filled it with sulpher. He then left it outside the cave for the dragon. The dragon gobbled up the free meal, and then became so thirsty from the fire in his belly that he drank half the Vistula river and exploded. But this is only legend. Today the dragon statue stands outside his cave at the base of the castle and belches fire through out the day. The dragon is a symbol of Krakow.
